Thanks for responding.I don't have any single news source I rely on. Usually best to get your news from a variety of sources from different ideological slants. All the while remembering all news sources are likely lying, spinning or telling you half truths.
Personally I'd be happy enough for the MSM to remain but with massively reduced budgets and different priorities. Even you must realise that what the MSM have been doing in recent years has not exactly strengthened political culture or journalistic practices.
I will be honest, I do not think they are lying, spinning or telling half truths. They may well lean one way or the other but the notion that they are somehow complicit in fake news (ironic) and mis-truths just doesn't wash - at least not here in the UK. The BBC is a strange one (coverage of Israeli genocide was certainly ignored) but certainly channel 4, ITV and the like are all just 'telling the news'.
It really does sound like the same line my conspiracy friends like to dish out - we cannot trust MSM! My feeling is because MSM just doesn't follow their conspiracy narrative it must therefore be 'in on it' with the powers that be - all of which is total nonsense - there is no agenda, there is no new world order, the world is just a mess.
That is how I see it at least.
