He's the play ground bully, that the rich kids that've never fought (or had to) suck up to to keep sweet and avoid having to face.
Has his little gang, and goes round beating on the smaller vulnerable kids for laughs.

I genuinely don't understand the rights fascination with Trump. Like, do the people ACTUALLY in power think he's anything? Do senators and congresspeople think he is even smart? Clarence Thomas' wife thinks he literally is Jesus incarnation. How the hell do they even rationalize that?

There’s two strands of trump supporters.
The ones who just want to rally against the political establishment.
And the ones who are just plain nasty people and use him as a vehicle to let out their hatred.
We go through these cycles every fifty years or so and it’s always the right that claim the initiative, as they can easily tap into to the angst and hatred that is always bubbling under.
It’s hard for the left to ever claim the initiative as capitalism has created a really horrid rat race mentality in society, which had lead people to think for the individual and not the collective.
Will always be this way unfortunately. Eventually America and the west will revert back to type and put their faith back into the so called sensible politicians. This seems to be the cycle of democracy in a capitalist world.
Only thing that will really change long term is that we’ll all get poorer whilst the rich will get richer.

Good news - birthright citizenship is enshrined in the constitution and no executive order can change that, any more than he can order the sun to stop rising.
Bad news - he has loaded the supreme court and if they allow this to go through, then he is not bound by the constitution any more and can just start his dictatorship as he sees fit
