Didn’t say I did

However I was in hospital and asked if I was pregnant because they refused to acknowledge my sex.

I was massively offended and the guy who asked me it was embarrassed. They are implying I have been letting another man do me. Like wow. Insane.

There are lots of complicated issues. Woke agenda some of it has done good. Some of it has done bad and hopefully a happy medium will be achieved somewhere along the line. But it is going too be difficult to achieve.

I also believe the woke agenda side steps difficult questions or issues. Casualties of ideology are dismissed.
I thought we were the ones who were offended by everything. Also, this clearly did NOT happen to you

Just ask me my sex. That simple, males do not have kids. It is impossible. I literally have no idea what you’re on about. It sounds incredibly stupid.

I absolutely guarantee you that it did happen.

Why would I make it up? Such a random thing to make up.

Are you really that dumb? Honestly? It's a serious question. I thought I tried to put it as simply as possible so that every boy and girl could understand.

Let's go back to basics if you insist.

Do you believe that there are some people who look like they are a man, but are (in terms of anatomy) a woman?
If the answer is yes, then read on. If the answer is no, then just go ahead and cower in the corner shouting at the bad people.

Next question: do you believe that some people "identify" as one gender, but in terms of anatomy are of a different gender? (try to put aside any anger about whether this should be allowed/encouraged/recognised)
If the answer is yes, then read on. If the answer is no, then just go ahead and cower in the corner shouting at the bad people.

Final question, and this is a tricky one! Which of the two options below is simpler for a doctor...
a) "Are you pregnant?"
b) "Are you a man or woman? Calm down sir, I'm just asking a question...sir, please calm down. Sir...Sir...please. Before administering any medication I need to know if you are pregnant, and...well, yes, of course I could have just asked that question, but..but...there have been lots of people getting angry if I asked them if they were pregnant...they kept getting offended and assuming I was accusing them of being gay, or something...Sir...Sir..."

I think asking sex just removes all that complication. The rest is irrelevant. I have seen Mrs Doubtfire.

Again confusing and muddling sex and gender. If I consulted the gender bread man, you could be anything as a medical professional that’s meaningless.

Are you pregnant? Reply, How could I get pregnant? Who gets pregnant? “Birthing people”, who are they woman? Minefield of absolute stupidity.

What is your sex male or female? If female are you pregnant if male question not asked, the end.

Implying the vast majority of men, who do not sleep with other men, are getting ejaculated in whilst some it’s against their religion is deeply offensive. It’s not a medical question it’s a woke activist question.

What a mess this is...
"If I consulted the gender bread man, you could be anything as a medical professional that’s meaningless."

"What is your sex male or female? If female are you pregnant if male question not asked, the end."
Can you think of a way this could be reduced to just one question? I can.

"Implying the vast majority of men, who do not sleep with other men, are getting ejaculated in whilst some it’s against their religion is deeply offensive. It’s not a medical question it’s a woke activist question."
Again - it's not an implication. It's not a judgment. No one is accusing you of anything.
And it is EXACTLY a medical question. Purely and simply. Being pregnant is a MEDICAL condition.
You are reading waaaaaaaaaay more into it than any well-balanced person should.

Do you have any more examples of wokeism impacting your life?

I enjoy these anecdotes. They are very interesting to hear about.

It’s just my lived experience.

What if most people feel annoyed at the question. A medical condition that’s impossible for me to have? You thinks it’s a valid line of questioning and valuable use of resource?

Yes. 1000 times yes.

The use of resource is lessened by asking this question.
"Are you pregnant?" is 1 question.
"Are you male or female?" (potentially) followed by "Are you pregnant?" is either 1 or 2.

The first option is quicker half of the time, and never longer.
But I doubt the use of resource is really what upsets you (you've been clear that you are really upset that someone you don't know might think another man has touched you intimately)

I filled out an Esta Visa application for the US the other day. One of the questions asked me if I had ever been involved in, or was planning terrorist activities or genocide.

Was so offended I smashed my laptop to pieces in disgust, at the implication I could do such a thing.

Would have been quicker to lash some of that c-4 you've got laying about on the laptop instead.

Ah, so that's the nub of it? We shouldn't attempt to include a little basic empathy towards minorities filling in forms during an otherwise impersonal and maybe unsettling experience (going into hospital isn't always the barrel of laughs you see in the Carry On movies) because... it wastes too much printer ink?
One way of viewing it. Although I don’t think we should insult a majority to not insult a minority. What about religious minorities a little basic empathy?

The other way of viewing it is there is innate differences in male and females biologically, which demand different questions and treatments. Keep your politics out of science is my opinion.

It is not just are you pregnant that comes out of biological difference as well.

But "centrist" nuggets who get offended at being asked if they are pregnant are NOT the majority.

It’s not just pregnant that follows biology. The question is polticlaly motivated and should not be welcome in a medical / scientific environment.

And since you’re all against offensive stuff, people are offended.
