As no one from what I have seen has tried to define woke apart from a few saying using it makes no sense to use it disparagingly.. I’ve decided to pen my own version of the political leanings of people…

Reckon it about accurate … question is the woke see themselves as mainstream liberal just looking out for everyone but the centrists and conservatives are seeing woke as extreme left telling them how bigoted they are every step they take and acting superior along the way, while being borderline insane with some of the nonsense they come out with. Which is right? How you view yourself or how others view you?

It’s a draft version so open to some adjustment and could use some neatening up.
Think the right conservatives need some fleshing out..

Not sure where UK sensibilities lie, but here in the US, the “right Conservative” category believes that very few, if any, social safety nets should be offered to citizens. Also that corporations should effectively not be taxed, and that those corporations will then pass those savings along to their employees. They also generally generally believe in regressive taxation methods such as sales tax and non-graduated income tax that disproportionately affects the poor and working class.

Has anybody who uses 'woke' as an insult explained exactly what they mean by it yet or are we still to assume that they are just massive bigots and hate people respecting other people's way of life.

I literally see it as they are peed off cos they can no longer get away with being horrible to people. They have spent centuries bullying, maginalising and belittling minority groups and are now being made accountable and don't like it. The boot is on the other foot it seems.

Much of popular center and right politics would love to mirror USA, much of the electorate believe they are right wing capitalist with touch of welfare, but when push comes to shove on them and their own are all bashful full-on communists at heart. So full of contradictions.

Yep should have included something about guns too and the “don’t make your problems mine” mindset that was clear with Obama trying to get the health bill through and folks not wanting to share the burden. Those seem fair around not supporting safety nets for less fortunate.
