We have a light dusting of sleet with a steady dose of iced over roads (the real stuff, not the typical slush that drives us into hysterics), but luckily few electrical outages. School has been canceled until April as a precaution, however.

I’m up in the Lake District for a couple of days and it’s very cold with heavy snow, temperature dropping to -6 tonight, hopefully the roads are ok in the morning.

Rydal, in between Ambleside and Grasmere. It’s lovely up here, been walking in the snow in the arvo then drinking proper beer by the fire, with the resident dog, in the evening. Heaven.

I love it in the Lakes when it’s like this in the Winter.

It’s beautiful walking weather too, as long as you’ve got the right gear.
