I'm not afraid to admit it, I'm well excited about this series. It starts in the UK on November 5th (US on Halloween) and it looks ace.

The director of The Shawshank Redemption (and the producer of The Terminator and Aliens) take Kirkman's classic graphic novel, Egg from This Life and several olympic swimming pools full of blood and guts and (hopefully) creates the most enjoyable series of the year. Zombie stuff really brings out my (not so) inner nerd, should be good.

It's on AMC, so it's not going to be any less than fantastic.

They don't do many shows, but:

Breaking Bad
Mad Men
Rubicon (new show, which was really good)

Quality over quantity no doubt, but damn they're quality.
 
Looks good. I wish they wouldn't cast English actors though. All I see with that feller is the divvy from that yuppie drama series I hated.

Anyone catch the Event last week? Undecided yet. Started off ok and then one or two cheesy lines came into it. I'll persevere for another couple of episodes.
 
i am SOOOOO EXCITED for this show. it is going to be amazing.
the zombies look really great, too.

ill tell you guys how it is on nov 1

p.s. i got into the event for a couple episodes and gave up. not cause it was bad. i just didnt have enough time

Decent cast. I have my doubts though.

Yeah, he was called Egg in that wasn't he? I hated it too, but watched it all for some weird reason. Luckily I had no idea Stringer and McNulty were english when I watched The Wire, that would have done my head in.

He was even worse in Love , Actually .

Is this a Sky programme or some other liked minded , pocket-picking Company ???
( If you just give us another £20 p/w , you can have access to Sky Sports #17 !!! Meanwhile 1-16 are showing Taiwanese Moto - Cross all fukn day . )

It's on FX LCAB. That's not on council telly I dont think.

Should all be free. Murdoch scum.
