The show's ace either way. I'm not normally keen on zombie things, but they're taking a fresh angle; fleshing out the characters, adding real drama. It should be interesting.

Have you finished RDR Undead Nightmare yet? I got it done tonight, but still a bit off 100% Thought it was a good laugh - great ending too.

Ain't even downloaded it. I want to complete the main game first

...which I'm not far through. It's kind of boring so far, so I've no impetus to play it :/
 
Thought it was really good. Great effects and atmosphere. The scene on the horse when he turned around the block in the city and there were 1000s of zombies was ace.

I just don't get why they started with the scene they did. It made no sense to me. Looked like they wanted to 'shock' with him shooting a zombie kid - felt pretty lame.

I think they were just setting the tone -- showing not only is the show pretty grizzly, but it's got a bit of drama too.

But then they had to go back and show how he ended up being there in the first place, it just felt massively tacked on.

It's fine to show in the previews or trailers but not at the start of Ep 1. Just a bit silly, it should have started as they were both eating burgers in the patrol car. They were probably worried about losing viewers if they didn't show a zombie or a killing within the first 3 minutes.

It was on AMC, mate. You can count on two hands how many people were watching, haha.


But you are right. It is however a tiny complaint. The first episode went on for about 63 minutes after that, and each and every one of them was good.
 
Yep. Just rewatched it. It was good. I still shat myself when he got to Atlanta and met the 1000s.

Also just realised I Sky+ed it and it started with him walking down the road with a gas can in his hand, that might not have been the actual beginning as Sky+ has a gay habit of missing the very start.

Anyways, was top stuff. I just need to find out who that black guy was, he isn't listed in imdb and I really recognise him from something - quality actor, and I'm sure he's english too.

I think I've seen him on something too, but you're right, can't even find his name on wiki. Odd, because he was a big part of the episode, and was really good. I can only guess he won't be a regular then, which would be a shame.
 
I was gonan watch this on virgin catchup on demand thingy cause its advertised on there, yet i can't actually find it on there anywhere.

Then i checked and its on FX channel tonight at 10pm so i'll watch it then.
