The unthinkable...

I can't believe people would want Roy Keane.

Hes a muppet when it comes to being a manager. Stop having a go at halewood blue he is correct. Keane has been given all the funds he wants at Sunderland and look where that has got him. He buys alot of players gets unhappy with them and replaces most of them. It ridicoulus he would have us broke again.

As for Fat Sam. No feckin way!! He is a useless manager. Ok he was ok at Bolton but that was largely to do with bringing in alot of short term players like campo etc..

At Newcastle he was terrible. All he does is moan about everything.

If Everton were to need a new mnager we would have to think big. No more sub par sub standard managers. Moyes was a godsend but we need biugger profile better types if he walked away.

I bloody hope he doesn't go though.

Allardyce is mentioned because he's Bill's mate, not because people want him.

Keane is a muppet, I agree. Of course he's just learning his trade but he has definitely spent a lot of money on average players.

Cheers mate. Imagine what Moyes could do with the money Keane has been given, he certainly wouldn't waste it like Keane has

Exaclty i'm sure there are quite a few managers in the Prem scratching their noggins thinking about Keanes blatent abuse of Sunderlands funds.

We would be a definite top 4 contender if Moyes had his hands on the cash Keane has had over the last two seasons.

People talk about Keane is still learning. The only thing he is learning is how to waste money and how to get the sack. Although i doubt Niall Quinn and co. have the balls to sack him if things go pear shaped.

The fact is though, to stay in the Premiership, you have to spend money. It's pretty simple really, you don't spend money you wont get anywhere. He brought in players that were good enough to keep them up.

You say he has brought in crap? Well who is he going to bring in, he won't be able to bring in players much better then Chopra in your first season in the Prem. No decent players want to go to a newly promoted team, so he had to bring in players of average ability to keep them up.

But Cal, spending 5 mill on Chopra, Richardson and 10m on Gordon! Feckin' ridiculous! A perfect example of why you don't advertise "I've got money, and I'm gonna spend it!"

That was the kinda players that they could bring in though. To stay up you gotta pay over the odds for players like that.

They aren't worth what they paid, i agree but there average players who will do enough to keep you up.

Look at all the promoted teams, they spend [Poor language removed] all and get relegated.

Well, in Gordon he paid for potential obviously, but he has paid over the odds on some players. Ultimately I think this season will show whether he has used the money wisely or not.

Spend money yes. Which he did and your right they stayed up. But like Makis said he paid over the odds for most of them.

I wasn't primarily talking about Richardson and Gordon as they are decent

Whats worse he is trying to sell most of the players he paid massivley for and has bought more overpriced players.

Did say rank outsider, but I see you would rather have say Curbishley, Allardyce, Dowie, Jewell, or Keegan to name a few.

Okay lets settle on Bruce.:)
