Ross is ten times more likely to fall over his own feet than have a shot on target.

I have a few of these:

Coleman is just about the worst crosser of the ball I've ever seen play for us and I'd be delighted with a £15m+ bid if it came in for him. We need to sell to raise funds and he'd be the one I'd get shut of, personally.

Besic is nowhere near as good as some people make out. Gives the ball away in stupid areas and his passing, ability to spot a pass and choice of pass are all well below par. Pretty fundamental for a centre mid.

Gareth Barry gets some ridiculous, undeserved stick. No, he can't run, yes he gets booked all the time. None of that was any different before he came here and none of that was different in his first season here. Last season he was playing in a struggling side and teams were pressing him because they knew he was/is our main focal point for playing out from the back. Yes, he needs people who can run in the midfield with him but he passes a ball better than anyone else in our midfield and has much more intelligence and understanding of the game than anyone available to us in that role. Makes me want to scream when I hear people calling from him to be dropped and McCarthy or Besic to play in his position - can you imagine either of those being remotely good at helping us play out from defence? No, me neither

Mirallas - Rarely have I had such a love/hate relationship with any player. Contributes very little in build up play and nothing defensively. He will, however, score goals and there's no player I'd rather have 1-on-1 with the keeper in the squad (Rom would run him close).

People who say we should play with two out-and-out wingers and play with Barkley as the number 10. Football is about more than who can run with a ball.

People who slate Martinez (and Moyes before him) for not playing two strikers. Living in the 80s. Football has moved on and almost nobody plays with two orthodox strikers anymore

Feel better now?

'Hawaiian' contains 4 vowels in a row...unusual. I can think of queue and the -poeia words (eg onomatopoeia and pharmacopoeia) as other ones, but the well is pretty dry thereafter.

NB the act of waiting in a line can also be spelt queueing (5 vowels!!).

.... The above is an example of the mental exercises I performed to keep me entertained whilst watching Everton the past season.

Anymore of that and you'll be hearing from my solicitor, well, once we get these pending cases out of the way anyway.
lol. I liked that story you told about once going to the movies and some little kid was making a noise so you tripped him up on the way out lol

ok my thoughts.

Martinez is an average manager with a small club mentality. He has some great ideas but they go no further than that, it will take a lot for him to develop them into succesful tactics and that is the main reason for us having such a bad season league wise. I hope he does do well for us but i can't see that happening and the 'loyal' everton thing to our managers will leave us way off the pace by the time we walter smith him, and the club in no mans land.

the club will never be bought/invested in. Its a financial black hole and no business man in his right mind, including the ones that run the bloody thing are dumb enough to throw money into it enevr to be seen again. Best we can hope for now is kenwright having to step down and robert earl taking over.

We are going to sell stones/barkley/lukaku and the like in the near future. Nothing we can do to stop it, no matter how attached we get.

I think martinez's poor tactics are holding Barkley back now rather than himself. Robberto doesnt know how to coach him properly so he is clueless as to playing to his strengths currently.
