Hahaha I like you, you're proper mental!!

It's mental to think someone with no grappling experience whatsoever would get beat by a bronze medal Olympian? Of course Mayweather would beat her in a boxing match as he would anyone on the planet at his weight, but if she managed to get her hands on him for one second it'd be over.

Put a world class boxer in with a world class MMA fighter, and the MMA fighter wins 99 times out of 100. The only way the boxer ever wins that fight is by landing flush inside 30 seconds - every other time he'll lose via takedown submission or hammerblows.

They are two different sports. Of course a professional mma fighter would beat a boxer 9 time out of 10 at mma.

McGregor
Weidman
Jacare
Holloway
Ferguson
Maia
PVZ
Sage

Been pro-Aldo the whole time (mostly because it did my head in how people who didn't know a thing about the sport talking about how he was gonna get smashed), but as the fight gets close I just can't see how Aldo gets past the range.

You saved yourself a lot of vaulting. Good man.

I don't agree with that anyway but she wouldn't get close to taking him down.

I like MMA but the more deluded fans are truly Kopite in their beliefs.

Does Mayweather have any take down defense whatsoever?

If they fought under UFC rules, I'm pretty certain Ronda would just take Mayweather down and win by decision (I don't think she'd make him submit but I think he wouldn't be able to do much down on the mat with her)

If it was under Boxing rules, I'm pretty certain Mayweather would knock her out

This is why I don't get the whole "MMA Vs Boxing" thing

They're completely different sports with different rules and regulations

It's like saying "Wayne Rooney wouldn't be able to do a thing if he had to be wicket keeper for Lancashire this season"

Well yeah, of course he wouldn't. It's completely different to what he's doing now. I think if you took Mark Rampracash and told him to play at centre forward for Man United, you'd get a similar outcome

McGregor will want nothing to do with the LW title after tonight.

Doubt the ufc will want it to happen right away either, to much money to be made from him fighting lesser lightweights to begin with. He will sell out areanas against any1 so no point gettting in there with a beast to begin. If they actually put him in against diaz trash talk would reach epic preportions b4 he destroys him and makes a fortune doing it

Of course she'd submit him if she could take him down, mikey. As far as I'm aware he has absolutely no grappling experience, so she'd snap his arm like a twig or choke him out easily.

Dos Anjos would be a huge problem for McGregor. He was impressive last night. Frankie Edgar deserves the shot, but McGregor vs Diaz would make for a great build up.

You don't agree Rousey would submit Mayweather?

Nope, even IF she did get him down (and she couldnt get holm down) then Mayweather would be so much stronger that the types of move that worked on women would be pretty much ineffective against a man of Floyd's strength.

It's all moot, if Holm can keep Rousey at range then Floyd would be able to do it with one hand tied behind his back.
