It's the easiest press they can get. McGregor hasn't been around for a while.

Get loads of cameras ready and invite him down to smash some [Poor language removed] up and cause a scene - thus creating press coverage and genuine heat between two fighters.

I give it two weeks before a blockbuster fight is confirmed - sales will rocket because they 'hate each other'.

Let's not forget that the WWE (albeit fake) is an entertainment business - their talent used to regularly use razor blades to create the 'shock' moment'.

These guys are the same. The sport is different, but ticket sales are ticket sales - you need to generate an interest somehow.
