Aye, some card. Ngannou is terrifying, but I think people writing Stipe off already are being silly. He has been dropped a couple of times, but at the same time his last 3 fights have been KO wins over Werdum, Overeem and JDS.

Gaethje vs Alvarez did not disappoint. Would be happy to see that fight annually regardless of rankings.

Gutted to see Aldo lose badly again, hugely impressive from Max though. Rogan's lost his mind calling Holloway the featherweight GOAT, like.

Yeah I agree, Stipe isn't going to go in wild like reem did. Did he even have a gameplan bar the running left at the start? It should be a great fight though, both heavy hitters. Although in fairness Ngannou has been managed very well by the UFC so far fighting 'chinny' fighters, Stipe is a whole new level for him to take on. What a finish though, reem was out before he'd even gone down.

What was up with Alvarez' mouth? That was a war, I bet both of them were hurting the day after.

Aldo doesn't really have anything for Holloway. Max's output and work doesn't seem to drop at all from first bell to last, it'll take something special to stop him. I'd like to see him face McGregor again, I doubt Conor would take the fight now though. Is there any future in fighting left for Aldo? Could he step up to LW?

echo your sentiments, I can see what Joe is saying like, based on him beating the FW GOAT badly twice, and beating the who's who along the way, the only thing stopping him being the GOAT is the Conor shaped mark in his record

also he know holds a number of FW records, and the longest win streak in FW history, so I can deffo see the argument

did you see the Yancy - Cowboy fight on the pre-lims, wow that was a scrap

looks like Justin broke Eddies alveolar bone (bone that holds your teeth, runs along the top) possibly even knocked one or two of them out haha

Thanks, I wondered what it was when I first noticed it, looked like he had a jawbreaker in his mouth. He was in a bad way physically, his leg looked a mess as well. To be fair Justin was in a bad way as well, see him trying to get up? Great fight though.

yeah him trying to get up yikes

just shows the warrior instinct is clearly embedded in his DNA, out cold and still dragging himself to his feet, albeit like he is playing imaginary twister

Hats off to Diego Sanchez for this. Helping someone realise their dream. Such a great thing he's done, and I love the way he sells it as well.

100%, what a amazing thing that he will not forget for the rest of his short life, Diego Sanchez is a legend, always wears his heart on his sleeve, goes out on his shield (more than is necessary sometimes) and a genuine good guy aswell

I kinda want him to retire though before he does himself some permanent damage,

anyone watch on Sat? Khabib man, he is scary, how anyone can be so much stronger than anyone of a similar weight, nuts

I don't think he's really of a similar weight. He undergoes insane weight cuts prior to fights which could have killed him on two occasions.

The UFC really needs to change it's process for weighing their fighters. He should be in the weight class above imo.

I want him to fight Conor so he can throw him around like a doll.

I think its the obvious fight, but Conors next fight needs to be Ferguson to unify the LW division.

Tbh, i dont think Conor has got the motivation to return anymore he made a lot of money from the Mayweather fight.

yeah I know that much, but even still, some around 10lbs heavier or so, should not be able to control people the way he does

there is videos of him holding his own against Luke Rockhold (they train at the same gym) and Luke is 6ft 3 and has a good 40-50lbs over Khabib

He seems to be stalling on a return to the UFC and his pay demands might cause issues that we never see him fight again in the UFC.

Which would be a shame.

Had to laugh when he said he could fight both Ferguson and Conor on the same night with an hour's rest. Maybe if he fought more than once a year and didn't keep pulling out of fighting Ferguson it would have come across better.

Barbosa was a good match up for him really, both Ferguson and Conor could give him problems but no way Conor lasts as long as Barbosa did if he keeps getting taken down.

Have you seen the fallout from the photographer from Jackson-Wink calling Cyborg a TS? Poor fight.
