Yeah i think dc is probably a real genuine person but anyone whos been hit in the head repeated knows it can make you un knowingly do stupid things. Doubt we will see him in the ring again
 
anyone see the card Saturday, nucking futs, 7 first round finishes (most in fight night history apparently) 3 split decisions, and 2 UDs

Only watched the highlights and couple replays of main fights... feel sorry for evans even thou he looks in great shape he is a shadow of the fighter he was. Needs to give it away while he still has respsct and his health in tacted. Bandenays 26sec knockout was brutal aswell. Love some of these random cards without "bigname" fighters. Makes for great viewing

AMEN to that, some of the big names who earn some real money, are so scared of falling down the pay ladder they "Do a Tyron Woodley" to make sure they don't lose (don't blame them, don't hate the player etc) but these no-name guys, who are literally fighting for their livelihoods make for some exciting cards

loved the fact so many fights ended so quick they had to put the fight pass ones on too haha, and even they were both first round finishes

Deffo agree on Rashad, get out now while his brain is still intact, has nothing to prove now, and getting beat by a journeyman, what's the point in continuing

Feel for DC here. It must be strange. On the one hand your biggest rival has been stripped of the title he won from you unfairly, on the other hand a part of your life you're trying to move on from has completely resurfaced.

Not surprised at all, by the way. It's fairly common knowledge in the MMA world that Jones has been on the gear since way back, as most are. He apparently hid under the octagon floor for hours at Jackson's to avoid testers once. All that nonsense he was spouting about how he was changed after the DC fight was insincere then, shock horror.
 
I want to say I'm surprised but I'm not. All his smugness in his pre fight conferences, the things he was saying and especially when he was asked directly about the drug use. For the most part he was praised for being so honest and open about his past, that he was now a changed man. Off the top of my head I can't remember word for word but I do know that he has well and truly embarrassed himself and threw away the title of The Greatest Of All Time. He won't even be mentioned anymore and he should be banned from all MMA promotions going forward from this day.

He's a cheat and a disgrace to the UFC and there is no way back for him now. He will never fight in the UFC again.
 
.............. There is also zero chance he can attempt to blag his way around it this time by saying it was in some kind of supplement he was taking either. The substance that showed up on the test is ' Turinabol ' and that hasn't been legally produced by companies for decades. He has bought this on the black market.
 
Jon Jones hahahaha hahahahaha. Absolute joke of a athlete. Takes drugs and does a hit and run on a pregnant women. Now he tests positive again. Don't know how many times he has but surely it has to be a lifetime ban!

Spot on that.

You have to wonder how he keeps getting caught though. Did they just catch him out by testing after the weigh in? Cos obviously he usually takes stuff to hide it.

What does the UFC do? DC vs Oezdemir for the vacant title? If DC can get his head around fighting again.

from what Dana has said, sounds like if they do strip JJ, he is going to reinstate DC as champion (quote below)

“As far as I’m concerned, Cormier would be the champion,” he said. “The only guy he’s ever lost to in his whole career is Jon Jones.

“He was the champ, he’s the champion if Jones isn’t.”

which is exactly what should happen

Surely it's Cormier v Gustafsson 2 for the vacant title.
