There are some really interesting fights.

Jones - just think he's in DC's head and unless DC gets some success early on then he may crumble. But does Jones have a gas tank these days? Although he did look in great shape at the weigh in.

Cyborg - by one sided beatdown.

Woodley - although I hope Maia does him. If Maia can lock him up he has a real chance. I just don't see how he gets him down repeatedly without getting hurt.

Lawler - if his head is on it. Should be a good fight though.

Volkan - think Jimi is too focussed on the title shot, see it so often.
Nostradamus indeed ;)

They will make brick and jones as they know it will be massive in America. Be interesting seeing him in the heavyweight division. Miocic is his big danger. The slower bigger guys won't be much danger to him though.

Can't stand that cheating knob. I appreciate the fact he has since been so open about it, and is now seemingly more focused on fighting, but he will always be remembered for that moment in his career, despite the impressive displays inside the Octagon (albeit drug performances)

He was a cheat and that was fact.

Cormier was never really going to win this fight. Way too much height advantage and more importantly reach advantage. He gives up something like 10-12 inches in reach. That's insane. We saw it in the first fight and saw it again last night. Cormier had to rely on dirty boxing in the clinch to get anywhere near him. As soon as Cormier stepped within reach of Jones, we saw those stabbing short kicks, inside leg kicks from Jones. Cormier didn't really stand a chance and I feel he may retire now after losing that.

Jones' height and reach were too much for Cormier, but as soon as you put a fighter of similar attributes in with Jones, he will struggle. Gustafsson shown that and infact it was my opinion that the swede won that fight between the two. Jones was hammered in every round and I was astonished they called Jones for the win.

Jones was a cheat, I despise him for that. Enjoy the rest of the year lad. Gustafsson is coming.

Think Jones beats Gustafsson convincingly now. Jones trained for two weeks for that first fight after months of partying, plus Gus has been knocked out and lost a gruelling fight since then, and has talked about potential retirement.

Gutted for Demian Maia, but that was by far his worst matchup in the division. Feel sorry for Woodley in a way as he's being given a hard time over his last three fights being boring but, as he said, that's more to do with his opponent than himself.

Dana has ripped into Woodley, took the GSP fight off him as well.

He did what he had to do.

It's his dream to be a champion in his division. Its of my understanding that he's giving it one more crack. He's still only 30.

That TKO you're talking about was against arguably the most brutal fighter in the UFC today and the other, like the Jones fight, you wouldn't of batted an eyelid had he won that split decision against Cormier. I think Gustafsson won both the Jones and Cormier fights and was extremely unlucky with the scoring. However, these fights were over 2 years ago. He took some time out and you're right in saying he pondered retirement, but he stated he found his love for fighting again and wants to give it another go.

His most recent fight against Glover Teixeira shown he is going for it.

For me... Easily the best fight of the year so far.

Michael Johnson (#5) v Justin Gaethje (1st fight in the UFC)

Gaethje has an unconvincing style in that he fights with his gloves down somewhat and very flat footed. However, he is very entertaining and that's why we are here. He has also stated himself ' I will get knocked the F out one day, its coming '.

Enjoy this lads, brilliant fight.

Aye I know he was unlucky in the Cormier fight and anyone can get knocked out by Johnson (who's actually retired, by the way), but I was thinking more regarding the miles they've put on his body and chin. Gustafsson would give Jones a good scrap, and it's the one I'd like to see in that division, but surely him moving up to heavyweight is the big draw now.

Gaethje and Kevin Lee new Ultimate Fighter coaches, by the way. They're two fighters who are relatively unknown to casuals and Gaethje isn't the most eloquent or charismatic. Not sure where they're going with this but it's definitely a great fight.

Gustafsson/Jones 2 will certainly happen now I believe. Possibly February/March next year. Its one the fans want to see and like me, left a bad taste in my mouth on the decision from the first fight. Injustice. Gustafsson deserves one final title shot. Its an extremely interesting fight. Jones is now clean and more focused than ever and Gustafsson is hungry for gold and realizes that with it being his third title shot, it will most likely be his last. Very interesting.

Should Jones come through that fight, I agree that moving up a weight is the likely scenario and makes sense.

I love that Lee and Gaethje are the new coaches. Lee is definitely moving in the right direction and Gaethje is just incredible value for money entertainment. Gaethje has an iron chin and is in your face constantly. Very dangerous fighter. However with his style, constantly going for the ultimate knockout with every fight, he tires easily and I could see Lee wearing him further down with takedowns. Love this fight though.

Having looked at it a little more closely, Jones v Gustafsson will likely main event at UFC 217 in Madison Square Garden in November. As Jones is from New York.

Jones/Gustafsson and Bisping/St Pierre (Co-Main event).... Possibly Max Holloway's first fight since he KO'd Aldo

Called them all perfectly mate. Well done.

Cheers mate, bing back the fantasy league!

Can't see anyone beating Jones at LHW. I hope he move up as there are far more interesting rights there. Cain in a revenge matchup would be good. Weird he called out Lesnar after Lesnar just retired and pulled out of USADA testing. Is he looking for an easier win against a big guy so he can say he isnt scared to step up?

Felt sorry for DC. I think he'll retire now, nothing left for him.

Can't stand Woodley, gutted for Maia, who is another one with not much left.

See they've booked Bisping GSP again. I'm glad, it's an Interesting fight.

he has also since apologised to big john for his carry on after the fight and thanked him for giving him as long as he did
Can't judge him too harshly. He genuinely had no idea what was going on.
Thankfully he didn't attack Jon Jones as they were about to announce the winner.
I thought that was his intention.
