No surprises last night really.

Rumours on the UG that Khabib is retiring because of something called budd chiari syndrome which means he doesn't get blood to his liver. Crazy if true.

I would like to formally apologise to Shogun Rua for saying he was finished.

Happy for Ray Borg. Barboza doing what Barboza does best.

RIP Vitor. Please just stop now or get back on the TRT in Rizin. His body is completely wrecked.

UFC London tomorrow. Didn't realise until now that the card is actually on at normal time. Assume it's because it isn't on PPV.

yeah that's exactly it, PPV's numbers flat line when Europe time so they make them the time they would be over there

pity we didn't get the prelims on BT, some decent scraps by all accounts. well impressed with Gunni, and my that left from Jimi is scary

What does everyone make of the weigh in? DC weights in 1.2lbs over at the last minute. Goes away for 2 mins and come back at 205lbs on the nose.

Then Rumble who is a pretty big LHW comes and weighs 203.8, exactly 1.2lbs under the 205 limit.

Did they change be the scale? I know Cyborg tried that in the past herself. If Rumble was so far u set, why wait til the last minute before starting to rehydrate? I know people are saying DC leant on the towel the second time, but seems more likely a scale issue with Rumble being under the same amount.

Bad card in the end.

Johnson gave up. He had a chance if he kept it standing, he caught DC with a great kick, but he kept going for the TD which was insane. Then once he was on the bottom he was almost tapping before DC got hold of his neck. Mad to see his corner walk off in disgust. If you hear the dialogue they had you can kind of see why they did, but think they should have stayed. I wonder what his opportunity is. I wanted him to win cos I think him vs Jones was the fight people want to see.

Weidman - Mousasi was a disappointing end but glad Mousasi got the nod. Weidman trying to keep his hands down like that is why they changed the rules. Then moaning about it afterwards after he milked it for all it was worth. He was basically KO'd, and is now threatening to appeal WTF!

If it wasn't for Jon Jones, DC would be a potential great

He's difficult to take to though. His style isn't the most exciting, as like most Greco guys there is was too much pushing against the fence. Then after the fight he calls out Manuawa and makes a big play for him, cos he knows he wants none of Jones. YOU can almost see his demeanor change when Rogan brings up Jones.

I thought he handled the Jones stuff well, loved the "when you get your academics in order you can come back to the classroom". I don't think you can say he wants none of Jones, I think he would love the opportunity to get back in with his and avenge his sole loss (not that he will).

I know what you mean about the wrestling, not the most fan friendly style, but I like it as I appreciate any discipline that requires skill, and DC is one of the best (considering hes really just a fat middleweight (I know he was heavyweight originally))

I think we should see DC v Jimi next, and on the same card have Jones with a warm up (to prove he can make it to fight night) then DC vs Jones
