Auschwitz & Birkenau, plus check out Wisla Krakow's stadium !!
If you're going to do this, then don't be a tit and take selfies or smile and laugh away in any pictures. If you do then you're a horrible piece of scum.

Booked Berlin for early Sept. Favourite place i've ever been and it will be the first foreign place i've returned to.
Off to Prague on Thursday for 5 nights. Been wanting to go there for ages, now hoping they can speak English in most places as that Czech isn't easy.
I can echo the Berlin being boss shouts, loved it all three times I've been there.
I have not travelled in my job, but got to travel alot as a kid with my family.
I have been to:
Norway
Sweden
Denmark
England
Germany
Netherlands
France
Luxembourg
Spain
Portugal
Switzerland
Italy
Poland
Hungary
Egypt
Kenya

Off to venice and rome over the weekend. Any tips

Nice, how old were you when you went there? My mum spent 16 years there as a child
Yeah, tell me what it's like. Headed to those two myself in August![]()
Niagara on the lake and the Muskoka region are both very nice spotsWhat are some good short trips I can do from Toronto? Up to speed with the bigger cities and tourist spots, looking more for "hidden gems"
How much time do you have? Would recommend Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City but that's a good five hours to Ottawa iircThanks. What about further afield as well?

If you are only in Venice for the day, it's not really enough time to do the lagoon or the islands. In that case, wherever you arrive at (train or bus station) take the Vaporetto (water bus) down the Grand Canal to St Mark's Square. Choose one 'sight' to see (Rialto, Doge's Palace, St Mark's Basilica) and spend the rest of the time getting away from the crowds by wandering down little side streets. Find a local restaurant without tourist hordes and have some food and wine. When you don't want to be 'lost' any more, start walking in any direction and you will soon come across a sign for Rialto, San Marco or Ferroviale (which will indicate where the main tourist streams are). Going over to the Guidecca island opposite St Mark's is nice for views and to find a decent place to sit and eat/drink.Off to venice and rome over the weekend. Any tips
