The proposed Kolkata Sports City will be among the largest integrated sports complexes, in India. It also has commercial and residential areas within a land parcel of 250 acres. Situated at Rajarhat, the new planned township area “KSC” is the first fully integrated sports centre that provides one-stop sports and recreational experience. It's wide variety of sporting facilities include a sheltered Olympic size Pool, state-of-the-art Gym, an ultra modern Stadium, Sports Hall, Tennis Courts, etc.

The sports city is being promoted by West Bengal State Council of Sports, Govt of West Bengal. Renowned consultants having international presence have been invited for the conceptual architectural plan of the project. The total cost of the project is estimated to be INR 2.2 Billion.

I reckon foxy knows what he's talking about, and he's certainly not a liar, but I'm 99% certain that even if discussions are happening, they'll come to nothing.

Because we don't have a stadium, quite frankly. There's no reason for someone to take us over when there's numerous clubs in the Premier League and Championship worth investing in that would cost considerably less to make competitive.

Furthermore, if this is an Indian-based consortium, we should avoid like the plague. The amount of corruption in that part of the world is almost total and anyone with wealth has rarely earned it honestly. Ambani wouldn't be bad but a faceless collaboration of millionaires or a Venkys type deal would be disastrous.

Last but not least, if they're not complete billionaires - I'm talking at least a personal fortune of £3-4bn - then there's no point celebrating the takeover.

So we're looking for an honest, extremely wealthy Asian acting alone and not part of a consortium.

So, in short, we're not going to find one, and we're not going to get bought.

I'm looking forward to hearing what part of the country the latest maniac in a shed we're having discussions with lives in. I'm going for Bedford.
