Anybody who thinks we will buy without sales is quite insane.

Absolute madness looking at that. 2009 was our last positive net spend and even then it was only £6.5m.

Plus two of the last three seasons we've had a negative spend of over £10m. Yet we're still in a position to be challenging for a CL place.

Always makes me laugh when i see these threads. We never learn do we ?

Usually these threads appear around the months of April/May and October/November. These are the months we all start to speculate and dream. Where this board is filled with rumour after rumour and everyone gets a tad excited, walking about with seam stretching boners......

We never never learn and here we go again, April tomorrow, season coming to a close. Its time to start number crunching and coming to the conclusion how we must surely have 40m to spend. How bill will defo be writing some cheques this time, this time !!!........... this time !!
