Poor game today. While he hasn't been fantastic he has had a more than decent season so far.

Got to agree with this. Pienaar hasn't performed for about 2 months.

Was all over the pitch first half, good link up play and involved in everything.. Second half seemed to slow a lot and we suffered as a team for it. He's still vital to how we play although Mirallas is more than capable of filling his boots but its no coincidence that Baines has had another great game with him in front of him.
Watch the game again and count the link up plays between them, he may not be on top form but he's still one of our better players even playing as he is.

He had a good game tonIght won possession twice for our goal. Second half he should have laid Jelavic in rather than shooting. His link up with Baines is still exceptional
