The Spurs situation and Everton

Tottenham looked awful again today, no energy, no fight and bullied all over the pitch.

Forest players know what's required to stay up and they will

West Ham know how to dig in too

Tottenham are going down without a whimper - I think we confirm their doom.

I guess team bus greets as a motivational tool aren’t for all players 😂
I can remember an FA Cup game 3rd round away v Sheffield United a 3 sided ground back thenwith a cricket pitch on one side ....
Outside as a youngster the EFC coach arrived I ran to go towards it- to see my heroes as a good thousand did my mates of my brother grabbed me back - let those idiots go the cafes are now empty for some scram - we got beat 2- 1 Wagstaffe & Tony Currie destroyed us in the 2nd half afterbeing 1- 0 up at half time ...
Why the Catt never signed either one of those players later on I their carriers was a mystery to me ..

Always remember a banner england v brazil. "hot currie burns Brazilian nuts" . He was a cracking player like.

Like the Venky Chicken group that pretty much completed the destruction of Blackburn Rovers, 777 would’ve asset stripped us a swiftly seen the club out of existence entirely.

I wonder are Spurs’ new-ish owners aiming for similar by way of the parachute payment as well?

Spurs fans and players believe that the club is one of the best clubs in the PL and belongs in the CL.

Their mentality is awful, but as Chiellini said, It is the history of the Tottenham.

They're too proud to play or believe they have to play in a certain way to dig deep and get results when they need to but they're just not good enough to play or be at the level they think they are in this league.

When that psyche infects a club it's hard to get away from.

Totally agree here. My takeaway from the Spurs "street parade" is not that they were crying and desperate to stay up. It was more like they didnt want to be seen making no effort.
They lined the streets. Yeah great. They chanted Come on you Spurs over and over.

I didnt see a single sign that anyone gave a rubber monkey about the outcome of that match. Where was the passion? Shouting Spurs 50 times in the street is not inspiring.

Just a shame, for them.
