Got some collection of benchcoats the lad; everyone one has got that big bigger as the seasons have progressed. Used to be be his backside that touched the ground, now it’s the Dark Blue XXXL Umbro that touches the turf.
Said nothing to cause offence despite his past allegiance, done nothing to suggest his tenure here will even be remembered. Will soon move on to the next station & destination of the Gravy Train to sport another coloured slightly wider bench coat. Still fat, still round, in fairness could even be sound. Will never know & I probably care less; another passing anomaly in our recent history.
