The Sack Race 25/26

I'm far from the biggest Moyes fan but I genuinely would hate replacying him with Maresca right now

He plays one very specific style and we haven't got close to the right players for it, would more than likely be a disaster

With the right squad he has a higher ceiling than Moyes. But with this one? Oof

We are only 2 points behind them after all.

So, basically, Chelsea sacked him when he was speaking to City. Proper order. Bill decided to "give his blessing" to the Moyesiah when he did the dirty on us with Sralex.

Kenwright was obviously dependent on Moyes, to a large extent. Certainly, he knew he wouldn't be as lucky again long-term with a manager to paper over his craven, self-serving underinvestment in the club. But I'd like to think our current owners would sack all around them if a manager of ours ever goes behind our backs in future - if only for self-esteem reasons.

hasn’t he been in lower leagues here. and got sacked?
He got sacked by Hull, who are ran by an absolute mentalist

Miraculously kept them up whilst he was there and almost got them promoted

“On 7 May 2024, after a seventh-place finish for Hull City caused the team to narrowly miss out on the play-offs, Rosenior was sacked.[43] Hull City owner, Acun Ilicali said that Rosenior had been sacked over a difference on football philosophy between the two with Ilicali wanting attacking football and Rosenior unable to offer that as a manager.”
