Not quite. Mark Hughes was sacked by Stoke and later by Southampton in 2018 — both in the same calendar year, but not the same Premier League season.

That's at least 6 sackings for him that I can count - Blackpool, Sheffield United, West Brom, Sunderland, Wigan and Newcastle. Nuno is on his 4th PL club and it feels like he's only been here 5 minutes, Potter with Brighton, Chelsea and West Ham, then Moyes with us (twice), Utd, West Ham and Sociedad, add miserable Ange racking up the club count...

Football has gone mad.

Russel Martin at Rangers, it was never going to last, it will be very interesting to see who they appoint next.
Thelwell currently on appointment duties there but he may well find himself walking the plank very soon.
