would be nice if it was possible for the posts that have incurred positive or negative 'reputation points' to be indicated as such. currently we have a game of hide and seek in terms of finding the nice and the not so comments left for each account.

i think that makes sense.

Actually do like the rep bars. Think they're a great idea, as it gives members the opportunity to express their opinion on other members. However, giving someone negative rep, for not agreeing with their opinion is really sad in my eyes. Negative rep should only be given for bad behaviour, like racism, name-calling an abusive language towards other posters. GOT is a discussion forum and if we would all have the same opinion, it wouldn't be that interesting anymore, would it?

Now, I hope, I haven't offended anyone, so please leave my rep bar alone.

I like the reputaton option only because it might cause someone to think twice before they post something that's just utterly stupid.

I also like it because it gives me the opportunity to let someone know how much I like their post and what they have to say.

I don't use it as some sort of retribution or as a windup tool.

Like I said, if we could see who reps us, it might cause those who give rep to think twice before they give either positive or negative rep and if it's warranted.
