I can understand why fans want fellaini gone, the reasons are

He is ambitious and is looking for a move
hoof ball is depressing
we can get big money for him
we need the money.

I appreciate the first comment (though he plays for the best club in the world), the 2nd isn't his fault. The last though shouldn't matter with the new tv deal. These kind of acceptance comments that we should sell is what is keeping the current board in place.

I was also thinking about how good Anichebe is and yet, this time last year we were desperate to sell him to Wigan. I think the same can be said of Jelavic. We have a couple of very good stikers at the club. I think we could do with a bit more pace in the team though.

Re a couple of posters above: I don't think anyone wants to sell Fellaini, but the reality is he is going to want to move on at the end of the season, especially if we don't get 4th. So he's our most likely way of investing back into the squad.
