Now the dust has settled after Tuesday.
Yes we got beat.
We lost the early goal to them. That allowed them to sit back and hit us on the break. We panicked and let them have 2 easy goals. We should have got to half time 1-0 and I think we could have got back in the game.
Gerard would have tired. OK we didn't have much up front but we did play well in the 2nd half. We had too many people playing who had to play with injuries. Barkley jags etc.
They say but we had injuries. Yep but all are defence which has been solid all season was out with exception of baines. Too be honest getting worried about Barnsley is he coasting through games? Not the force he has been.
Some of the stick for players like Stones has been amazing. This lad has only played for us a couple of times. Give him a chance will ya.
All still to play for. Villa will be a tough game they need our support.
