That's interesting, ancient symbol, there's one outside Bradford on the moors carved in a rock, 1000s of years old apparently

isn't it a very old (Hindu?) religious symbol? It certainly predates the Nazi party by many years.

The blurb that accompanied the photo suggested it might be a representation of Thor.

Yeah, actually you can see it in loads of old martial arts films set in the feudal era, good example is the Master of the Flying Guillotine

Should be adopted as a symbol of gay pride. Would end the neo Nazis' love of the symbol immediately and is only right after Hitler nicked it and besmirched it's original meaning.
