Wow, never thought Id see this on here. Ive hiked this trail a few times. I moved form Liverpool to Alaska in 2005. The foot of Chilkoot pass starts at the head of the Dyea River, about 5 minutes drive from the town of Skagway (a small gold rush town and entrance to the Yukon).

I met my wife in Skagway. We now live in Ketchikan, another town in Alaska.

I've been there!!!

Acoustic Range out there, got a day on the 'beach' as well. Went to the bar there. Also it was strange seeing Bald Eagles ripping through trash like seagulls.
