Wow, never thought Id see this on here. Ive hiked this trail a few times. I moved form Liverpool to Alaska in 2005. The foot of Chilkoot pass starts at the head of the Dyea River, about 5 minutes drive from the town of Skagway (a small gold rush town and entrance to the Yukon).Chilkoot Pass 1893 : the only way to Dawson City, the main town in the Yukon at the time of the Gold Rush.
I met my wife in Skagway. We now live in Ketchikan, another town in Alaska.
