Anyone else a bit disappointed with the line ups?

I remember you used to get world cup winning / world class former players who you'd never seen do it before.

I think a good one Canavaro, Viera and Martin O'niel (he was great) - but it seems to be the usual lot from sky, BT and BBC with the odd former ladies pro.

I'm not criticising their punditry, I just think it would be better to hear it from players who have played at that level, ie: relate to issues on the pitch.

I don’t watch much of the studio bantz tbh but they do seem to select the worst of the pundits to do the co-commentary.

Having Jermain Jenas on for the entire game is a human rights violation in itself.

It's not the pundits so much as the commentators. They're 'kin awful. Full of snide nationalism and hatred of foreigners.

By the way andros has been the best co commentator all tournament. He’s actually added some tactical thoughts and not stated the obvious and he’s not John Hartson.
