Vicious trolls have targeted the female New Zealand Navy captain whose $100million ship sank, forcing the country's Defence Minister to publicly state the captain's gender was not to blame.

A ship with the specific build, role and equipment to look at the sea bed runs aground eh? That takes some serious effort.
