The number of times I've snacked on fruits etc in public parks or places like the Jardines alcazares in Seville, whilst strolling through only to be met by people staring. You can look back and see 20 people crowded round, trying to Google if the cherry is a cherry.

I knew the British national curriculum had doomed us 20 years ago when, at a supermarket checkout, I had to tell the lad frantically thumbing through his folder that what lay before him on the conveyor belt was a cauliflower.
