Lorimer surely? On a week in week out basis, not just the one goal.

That Baines hit at Newcastle was something special though.
 


I only could pick a limited choice. Perhaps another thread needed for the rest ?

One is good, lists are never perfect...I'm sure there will be plenty of others added. Only caveat for me would be that they had at least 5 or more because, although Jags' goal was great, it's not part of his game. There's obvious reasons for that but, still.
 

We had a lad in the late 70s, a stocky centre-half called Billy Wright, not always on target but a little hard. Also, I'd say that whilst he never did it for us much, Bruce Rioch had the hardest shot in the first division.
