Give us a list then of these foreign managers who'd love to work in the prem that would take the team places Moyes cant?

Martin Jol, Pelligreni, Van Gaal, Advocaat, Mancini..... you want me to carry on?

Where exactly has Moyes taken us? 3 Uefa cups? twice knocked out in the 1st round? No cup success at all!!!

And before everyone say's knowone else etc, etc... blah, blah

Pompey, Spurs, Boro have all won major cups in that time!

Martin Jol is top of the bundesliga with Hamburg you think he'd trade that in for us?

I think he would want to come back to the prem, he has had to sell his best players this season, he wouldn't here.

If moyes was offered £60,000 pwk, like reported, do you really think any of the above managers earn anywhere near that?? NO CHANCE!!!

I'd love for someone like Mancini to come in and revamp the team but I really don't see Kenwright recruiting someone of his calibur if Moyes was to get the boot.

Megson, Allardyce, Irvine, Dave Jones. I think these are the types of managers that Kenwright would recruit and to be frank none of them are as good as Moyes.

Sadly, i agree. I wouldn't trust Kenwright to appoint a top manager. I really wouldn't.

But that doesn't mean, Moyes shouldn't go. He should.

How many 5 year plans are we going to start talking about?

And all those managers would turn up and win us a cup in the space of 5 minutes of being appointed? It'll be another couple of years down the line and if it dont work, then what? Another manager? Then when that manager cant get the players he wants because budget and wages, what else he gonna do? Because he's a name foreign manager doesnt mean he'll be able to get top class talant in -- factors of club status (even a Liege fan came on here and said he didnt know who we were when they got us) and wages rise their heads.

You ride luck in cups. Ramos tweaked an already structured Spurs side, tidied them up and got the winner against Chelsea, fair play. What they up to now? Pompey had a lucky escape against Man Utd who just didnt score in a year when major teams were knocked out by low league sides -- for the 1st time in years a top 4 club wasnt in the cup final. And fair play to Borough also but are still a mid-table team. We're a team who never have a lucky break.

A top class forgein manager would be nice, could be nice, but they're still risky and wont guarrantee success either way. And a club like us giving on of those managers 60,00 a week and it doesnt pan out? What then?

But, yeah, Moyes out!

where are they now? erh, still in both cups. Dont think them winning cups is luck, FFS. we had our chance last season, but Moyes awful tactics cost us against Fiorentina and Chelsea
