I'm struggling to find Pasties over here.

Always reminded me of the Pie's healthier but fatter, uglier cousin.

maroubra mate, on the main drag there, fairly certain that they did pasties but the chilli pies with fresh chillies in were fantastic, and you can light your eruptions on the way home to become jet-pack man.

Id rather steer clear of the Bra Boys for my pasties chief. Was thinking more the pie shop at Milsons Point just under the Harbour bridge there on the North side.

Had 2 helpings of Harry's Cafe de Wheels last week.

Sensational stuff those Chilli Beef Dogs, do a mean mushy pea potato and pie there too.

Had one in Bolton the other week. Some family baker thing, probably called 'Smith's bakery'.

Meat and potato pasty with mushy peas.

I would give it a solid 7/10.

Nothing fancy, good wholesome pasty. Bit dry. Nice and salty though.

A Dawsons meat pie and Dawsons meat and potato pie together on a plate are the king of filled pastry snacks at the moment. Shame I live about 40 miles away from Tyldesley now :(:(

can't believe I can lob in a review on this...

We have a pretty large outdoor art/crafts/food market each Saturday under the I-95 bridge over the St. Johns River. I'm old farting around w/ the wife and see a booth "British Pies and Pasties" - well now, next thing you know I'm purchasing my first genuine sausage roll from a Welsh lass. Not bad. Flaky crust, and a distinctive not-very-American tasting sausage inside (not smoked, for example...). Well seasoned, but more like a meatloaf thing than what I would call sausage. Can't remember what I paid. Likely too much. :)

I hope they're back soon - I'll check and see what's there and how much it costs.

make sure its a pastie then.

Oooh Linda Barker, when she doesn't speak she would certainly do.

Can't say anything about the plate, even if it is Asda.

I just ate my butties from a pink plastic thing, my daughter is still laughing.

Disposable though, no washing up.

WHO'S LAUGHING NOW??
