Wow. Our medal haul was a joke this morning. If NZ actually top us in the medal tally it will be like:

1. FTW? Need new AIS NOWZ
2. FFS it's the Olimpicz, who carez? We have gaflz and league.

Agreed. There's just no effort made by lads and girls on housing estates to attend Oxbridge and buy their way onto the shooting team.

We won 5 swimming gold in 2008, all by women. And we didn't win a single cycling gold in 2008.

doesnt diminish their efforts, but that is one very unfortunate stastic..sport should not be elitist,but it is..and prob always will be

wasnt that the first olympics in years we overtook you though, much of it down to cycling, australia do still go strong at the cycling, just GB peak better at the olympics it would seem, what would you say is the reason Nails, just a lull in talent between generations?
