Just got back from watching the two hockey games this morning, both were good fun although with unfavourable results.

A word on the olympic park though, it is sh*te.

A corporate cesspit that drains the money out the gullible middle classes and unfortunate working class. It's billed as a family occasion, yet I think a family of 4/5 would struggle to feed themselves there with water at £2.30 a bottle, pies at £6, burger at £8, a 99 cone at £2.50 and a bottle of beer at £4.30. Large queues all around for the promised yet non existent spare tickets despite empty seats aplenty. Also they seem to have created a nazi security state where I saw a six year old child being screamed at for walking on an open patch of grass. The people's games; I think not.

The games are expensive to put on mate, having food priced expensively makes perfect sense to me, if it was cheap you'd have people complaining about the games costing the taxpayer even more than it already is.

And those prices aren't a million miles away from what you'd pay at Wembley, or other big football grounds.

Yeah I understand, and I know Wembley is bad but these were much worse. They did give out free water though which was pretty good.

They've just been on the radio saying at this point, the only way you could buy them was online. You can collect them at the Olympic park though. This was someone from LOCOG.
