Yep, I searched to see if I could get it cheaper somewhere else, then found out that there was some sort of supply problem with the ingredients.

Ingredients are fairly cheap and commonly available. TCP as everyone knows is really Tom Cats Piss.
Try buying it in a shop - you can’t for some reason
I spent a month on holiday in Sept; ROI, NI, IOM Scotland, North of England, I tried big shops, little shops, out of the way shops.
I gave up asking any assistant under 40, they just looked blank and said What's That?
Others said - oh yeah TCP, no have had any in here for ages now you mention it...one in Boots hinted in a roundabout way that they didn't re order way back when it run out due to lack of demand and it was a bit 'old fashioned' as a medical item
