Another blast from the past, but if you ever wondered why the UFO Interceptor toy was green instead of white, like in the UFO TV series, here's the reason.

Dinky believed that children would be more attracted to green toys rather than white ones, leading them to paint the UFO Interceptor in a metallic green finish. This decision was based on the advice of a psychologist who suggested that green would be more appealing to children.

….i was always playing football or in Margaret St baths, so no surprise I picked up a verruca. Remember having to go the doctors every Saturday morning to get a bit more cut out with his knife until he eventually got to the root and it disappeared.

Just put cream on these days.

….i was there daily at times as a kid, we left Everton in 1971 I never knew the baths was converted to play 5a-side.

The tonsils were always accompanied by something called "the adenoids" (that's what it sounded like to me). Had them out when I was about 7.
