Ooh is that on Freeview?, watched the Prisoner as a child and remember that white ball used to scare me to death and would hide behind the Sofa when ever it appeared have watched it afew times as an adult and never understood it

It wasn't helped by ITV playing 2 or 3 episodes out of order which nobody noticed any way

Usually did,ours drew so well it always flew up the chimney like a rocket. Minor miracle the chimney never caught fire.

My Dad in my case and I did it myself for years until we got stoves - so easy to light.

Firelighters a few sticks & it lights easily, no newspaper needed....

I loved the smell of firelighters ; made me the man I am today.

We have two open fires in our pub which I always light during the winter months. Firelighters completely do away with having to use paper to draw the flames. Of course now normal house coal got banned last year we now have to use a smokeless anthracite which makes things a bit more difficult and requires more wood to get them going, sodding bureaucrats…….
