D.E.R. ( Domestic Electrical Rentals) on Allerton rd. for us , I always think the advantage of renting was if it went on the blink you could ring up and they’d send a bloke to fix it.….we rented ours from a bloke called Ernie Carr who had a shop on Boaler St, Everton. He’d knock on the door every few weeks for the TV rent money.
