The bond between Grandfather and Grandson or Granddaughter is very emotional..........being older yourself, you really learn to care, even more than you did 20 odd years ago.......

Just opened some Christmas presents. Received soap on a rope from an aged aunt with, shall we say, a distinctive perfume. I think she'd forgotten my age and thought I was either 7 or 70.

Ah the old dodgy knees. Mine are goosed after years of playing 5 a side and tennis in footwear of the late 70's and 80's.

They ache every night for no apparent reason - only there is a reason, my cartilage is now virtually non existent
