Borderline 26 years old but I don't care ! Where else would we talk about such great musicWhat a record at the time...not sure it qualifies as oldies though.
Music was good but I couldn't and still can't stomach Tate's singing.
Was that at the Stadium ? I saw them supporting Mott the Hoople in '74, the only tour they ever supported anyone.
i saw them at the royal court ! Can't remember much as I was cabbaged! Hate getting drunk for concertsTo each their own...thought he was boss. Met him once...sound fella.
You should write a book!Stadium was like another world to a Wool like myself mate. I think it was in St Georges Hall in Blackburn, but it might have been the Guild Hall in Preston, it's nigh on 40 years ago ffs. I do remember I should have been at a family wedding so had to lie big style to get out of it. Actually thinking about it, it was probably Blackburn because we had to hitch back.
Well done

whippersnapper! There are a few bands that I'd consider legends who my dad loves and got me into. I always remember listening to them on a cd in his car was I was younger and I was hooked! I very rarely listen to music produced anytime after 1980 these days.
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Cream
Deep Purple
Yardbirds
Led Zeppelin
Doobie Brothers
Procul Harum
The Eagles
Bob Dylan
The Rolling Stones
Bear in mind I'm 30 years of age...
