I am a believer that "culture" is corporate gibberish that companies and teams always tout but can never actually explain beyond that they want to have it. Winning teams say they have good culture. Fans of losing teams say they don't. I think winning builds "culture" and not the other way around because no team ever has bragged about the culture that exists in their bad collection of players.
I’m not into corporate speak. In fact I find that world from experience rotten, subservient rules all. There is something fundamentally wrong at Everton and has been for some time.
You talk about bringing in a striker which I agree with however should they do well or any of our attackers , when will they inevitably have to go elsewhere to actually win things and be successful with another club?
Because we don’t seem to have a winning mentality. Look at only recently, we got knocked out the cup by a poor Wolves team and we played even worse that night and the manager couldn’t care less. Three decades without a trophy. It stinks mate.
And with respect you might not care either about the league cup but I saw it as an opportunity to end the trophy drought, get in Europe and attract better players next season.
