That's quite an extreme a view. I couldn't care less about lying to parliament and to a committee. He ain't the first to do that, but at least he had the good grace to resign for being a failure (which he undoubtedly was), something few politicians do when they've actually been found guilty of crimes and even sent to prison.

I'll say this for the idiot though at least he ended the ruinous lockdown earlier than Labour wanted. They wanted to lock us down for an extra month at the start and at the end in the middle of summer. They called his desire to end the lockdown in the Summer, reckless. So at least he didn't have the conscience of Starmer which is his one redeeming feature.

There was nothing like good grace with that resignation mate, he jumped before he was pushed and you know it. Johnson has a lot of God awful traits, bullying is one of them, bullies on the whole become cowards when pushed and that is definitely the case in my view and you can call that extreme as well if you like. Give you one thing though he is a failure as a human being.

Depends what you mean by that. What does it mean to be a failure as a human being? He certainly excelled as Mayor of London. He also was wildly successful with his role in the referendum and then in a huge General Election win as a party leader.

So, the vote next Monday. Obviously Labour LibDems and SNP will vote en masse for the reports acceptance because it is in their political interests to do so. Meanwhile the remainer Tories and Sunak supporters will vote similarly. A few Boris supporters will vote against and a bunch of cowards will Abstain so as not to upset their voters. The numbers are not looking good for Boris tbh……..

Surely everyone that votes in favour of the recommendation will do so because it's blindingly obvious that Johnson lied and deliberately misled parliament.
The state of the Tory party that anyone could try to mount a defence of this serial liar.

Only read the summary. Even that sounds like a self serving hatchet job trying to protect the supposed integrity of the committee. This has all been a massive waste of Parliamentary time and effort while the country was facing the economic challenges directly brought about by changing the PM for Truss and then the Backstabber…but that is democracy I suppose…….
I like you Pete , I really do but what was that word that Johnson used? Ah yes that's it...... deranged.

Lovely man.

My point is that depending on how you judge failure, Boris Johnson was incredibly successful at getting his fellow human beings to back the causes he was leading. Someone judged by that many people to represent their interests can't really be a failure.

If your point is the man is fallible. I think we all know that, although he has held public positions of high pressure were failures are magnified and problems are commonplace. It doesn't have anything to do with some bullingdon club.

You

That’s because he’s a horrible lying scumbag and coward, who completely disrespects democracy.

Something cretins who voted for Brexit have been telling other people is something we should all respect for the last 5 years.

Boris has conclusively been found to lie frustrate and attempt to change rules by his own peers in a standards committee that was top heavy with Tory MPs, whom all voted against him. British sovereignty at its finest.

Yesterday got it right you vote on the evidence and ig should be a free vote, remember democracy. Whilst that disgusting pos Dorries is threatening Tory MP's to vote for Boris come what may. There is a difference e en in the Tory party. It wasn't just a piece of cake Pete, no matter how many times you say it.
