And him saying that the UK public will happily sit at home freezing and tolerate the high energy costs this winter, just shows how out of touch the Tory Party are in general.....I’m not condoning it, but if there is any mass civil disorder over the cost of energy bills this winter, then the Government will have brought it on themselves. When millions can’t genuinely afford to pay their bills and are at risk of being evicted, the “we’re all in this together to support Ukraine” Government propaganda, simply won’t resonate with the majority of the public anymore.
