Current Affairs The next Tory (strong and stable) leader is Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson is an enemy of the state. You support him wholeheartedly, despite knowing all that you know about him.

It’s painful to read your comments. You choose Johnson over the country which he’s decimating at an alarming rate on a daily basis.

Call yourself a patriot if it makes you feel better. But the truth is, you are a traitor to your country.

Or he's the biggest wum on here..

Gove will be happy with that outcome. Can now position himself in a leadership contest. Wouldn’t surprise me if he asked Johnson to do it. All a game to those 2
Gove broke their original pact because he had seen something in Boris nature that made him believe he was not fit to govern, an outlier it seems.

Except that, and as I keep saying, Parliament is filled with second raters across the political spectrum…..
Especially as many figured a career outside politics was better than the impossible mess of an undefined Brexit built on lies followed by the buffoonery of a Boris Johnson led party and Government.

Anybody who voted for that man as either Leader of the Conservatives or worse, PM, really should realise that they've done nothing but sabotage their party and their country and stay away from the ballot box in future. They've done nothing but get the big decisions wrong.

No mate, I am the only true patriot on here, the rest of you are Eu loving Europhiles wanting to do the country down….
It's possible to love the idea of being in the EU, and be patriotic, you know.

It's a bit daft to suggest that remainers 'want to do the country down' when all brexit has delivered is disruption and self inflicted damage.

This debate can be settled with simple facts. Manufacturing on it's arse. Workforce issues. Food rotting in fields. Meanwhile, we're not even checking the inbound trade as it'll cause that much damage. No doubt that is the fault of the e.u. though?

The people wanting to do the country down were the disaster capitalists pushing for brexit to happen, to the average member of society there is no benefit. Even the sovereignty argument is a pack of lies, we have less rights, less freedom and less leverage as a nation.

Brexit was made into an argument of faith over facts, thus has created some very entrenched views. I respect that you are very committed on that front and doubt people could sway you...

One question though, what would it take for you to come to the conclusion that brexit was a mistake?

Reporter...Prime Minister, what can stop your Govt. carrying out their policies?
P.M; Events Dear Boy, Events.

True then, true now.

Brexit on its own was survivable...although at the time the theory was that Johnson would be rolled in enough time to make good any mid term blues.
Throw in Covid, Inflation, Ukraine, all beyond his or anybbodies real control and He's still fire proof.
But act like a total Richard head...
