The problem is not the Johnsonite Tories; they are merely a symptom. The problem is the media, specifically the fact it is controlled by a very small number of horrific individuals who've demonstrated the will and the ability to wreck the lives of everyone on the planet in order to obtain and maintain power and make a profit. Johnson resigning would be great, but Murdoch dying would make the world a much better place.
