Current Affairs The next Tory (strong and stable) leader is Boris Johnson

This was one of my major issues with Corbyn. The Tories were (as they are now) involved in some sort of different scandal every other day.
Instead of heading to swing vote towns to shout about their behaviour and win over the undecided, he was attending rallies up here in Liverpool and in Manchester where Labour already had a strong footing and preaching to the converted.

Labours own inaction and softly softly approach to holding the Government to account is a part of why we are where we are imo.
Most polls have Labour ahead now by 5 or 6%.

And no other way but be softly in crisis, going in nobled and principled during such times is useless and just not important to majority of electorate. Just serves in the end being all Labour fault in undermining Government response, despite this government being pretty much useless.

TBF Corbyn did better than most Labour leaders (and did appear in) in those sorts of seats, especially in 2017.

A lot of the 2019 platform was aimed at that sort of voter too, but of course it got consumed in this notion that appointing a quasi-Hitler like him would result in the country being beset by a wave of disasters. What a long time ago that seems.

Surprised no one has mentioned the Boris Johnson interview on Good Morning Britain, this morning, wow, what an unbelievable idiot Johnson is. Susannah Reid brought up the case of a 77 year old Widow, who's energy bill has gone from £19 to £80, she now has to choose between, eating and heating, this is shocking, when Johnson was told she rides around all day by bus to keep warm and has one meal a day. Johnson replied it was me who brought out the ride all day freedom bus pass !, As if we should thank him ! A clearly stunned Susannah further quizzed Johnson he replied there are jobs to be had, she's 77, the disgusted interviewer replies might it not be better creating a windfall tax, like the Labour party said, considering the likes of BP are making massively obscene profits, of course Johnson replied, no we can't then they might stop investing in this Country. So out of touch it's unreal. Difficult to ask Blue Pete to comment, but apparently he's riding around on a bus as we speak !

She’s bleeding lucky, we don’t see many buses….

I see "little boy" went to school yesterday, his painting is getting better and it's said he's been practicing his writing
Bless he does his best you know I should not be too harsh. However, he has found his vocation in life in painting, now can he just feck off!
