Current Affairs The next Tory (strong and stable) leader is Boris Johnson

The arrogance of Graham Stuart is incredible. Remember, one of Hitler's proposals was to send all the Jews to Madagascar before he decided on extermination.

Johnson thinks it makes sense to send all refugees to Rwanda which has witnessed massive extermination of up to a million Tutsis ffs.

His attack on the Archbishop of Canterbury is a disgrace. Smacks of Henry II - turbulent priest

I have just watched Matt Warman on Newsnight - I need to wipe the slime off my TV - that was the most horrible smarmy interview I have ever seen.

Oh bring back the 80s in both our countries - we had politicians that may have been dodgy or annoying but this lot beat everything

Never mind that the Archbishop is in the House of Lords, so is not only fully expected to be politically active, but one would also presume privy to the details of the scheme.

The vultures are circling now but he will still have his supporters who back him just because he's Conservative.

This whole entrenched party support no matter the person, no matter the policies is always troubling to me, a look across the pond at the US can see the problems that accompany such division and we are mirroring that to a lesser extent.

It's not just a Tory thing either. Look at Liverpool who proudly proclaim itself as a Labour city, a city the Conservatives will never win votes in. Whilst understandable due to previous treatment from The Conservatives this basically fuels nonchalance from Labour as a safe seat who have to do very little to earn a vote.

Everyone has a vote and can do with it what they wish, that's the beauty of democracy. Personally I would urge people to vote based on policy and not on party.

Johnson has lost the faith of the British public in my opinion and the longer he stays the more damaging it is for his party and more importantly the country.

I'd like to see a return to serious politicians rather than showmen. The country and the world need them now more than ever.

We can live in hope.

This was one of my major issues with Corbyn. The Tories were (as they are now) involved in some sort of different scandal every other day.
Instead of heading to swing vote towns to shout about their behaviour and win over the undecided, he was attending rallies up here in Liverpool and in Manchester where Labour already had a strong footing and preaching to the converted.

Labours own inaction and softly softly approach to holding the Government to account is a part of why we are where we are imo.
